MSNBC - Allawi: Brokaw Interview
MSNBC - Allawi: Saddam connected to al-Qaida
I understand that thinking Americans are astounded that Allawi would tell us that 911 is related to the Irag war, but was there a hidden message there as well. I understand that he also told Tom Browkaw that he did not expect more troops in Iraq until after the election. I have been unable to secure a full transcript of the interview to verify. If true, it is very scarey in that he no doubt has more inofrmation than the American Public.
Combine this with yesterday's story in the New York Times by Thomas Shanker "Panel Calls U.S. Troop Size Insufficient for Demands-(A panel appointed by the Pentagon says the American military lacks the forces to handle all of its current and potential missions.)
What does this spell to you?
